2025 Tourism Addition

Kentucky Tourism being added to the 2025 Kentucky Sport Boat and Recreation Show

For over 40 years, WKYT has brought Kentucky the best in boating, recreation and outdoor experiences with the Kentucky Sport Boat and Recreation Show. With over 100,000 square feet of premium outdoor inventory on display, entertainment, a Kid Zone, Beer Garden and much more, 2024 was a great success. We are excited for the new addition of Tourism to the 2025 show as Kentucky is a unique and beautiful state! This will allow even more Kentuckians to find their next adventure.

We have received top-notch feedback from each one of our vendors, dealers and participants of the 2024 show. They are all looking forward to 2025 and the addition of even more space for the event gets everyone excited! We can’t wait to showcase all aspects of Kentucky tourism that you each have to offer.

Kentucky is full of natural beauty, historical landmarks, wonderful state parks, national parks, monuments and recreational areas that are meant to be seen and visited. There are too many hidden gems that plenty of residents have yet to discover. We feel that Tourism fits perfectly with our event and our attendees. Did we mention that by being part of the 2025 Kentucky Sport Boat and Recreation show you will have the opportunity to showcase your venue, destination, tour, activity or business to over seven thousand visitors to the event?

The Tourism section of the 2025 show will utilize the Pavilion meeting room area and halls located on the second level of the Central Bank Center. This area adds an additional 7,000 square feet to the show floor space. Tourism will be open on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the show. An opportunity to highlight your Kentucky tourism business to over seven thousand visitors in a world-class facility all while being surrounded by fellow friends in the tourism industry.

We can’t wait for you to be a part of this wonderful event. We will see you soon!

Bullitt County consists of roughly 300 square-miles located in the area known as the Knobs Region, which borders Kentucky’s outer Bluegrass Region. This area is noted for its many isolated, steep sloping, often cone-shaped hills of shale, limestone and sandstone. Dividing Bullitt County from east to west is the Salt River. Many small creeks and other tributaries flow into the Salt River, which stretches 150 miles from central Kentucky to the Ohio River. The U.S. Army Post Fort Knox encompasses much of Bullitt County’s western half and approximately one-fifth of Bullitt County as a whole, while Bernheim Forest and Arboretum, Kentucky’s official state arboretum, encompasses a significant portion of southeast Bullitt County.
